The 460MMUSB moves data between up to 2 USB devices like barcode scanners or printers and up to 32 Modbus RTU Slave devices. It’s the perfect tool to tie your USB devices to your Modbus RTU system. Best of all the product is Made in the USA, is always in stock and comes with a 5 year warranty.

How Do I Use the 460MMUSB-N70U in My Application?
Incoming ASCII data from a USB device is mapped directly to registers in your Modbus RTU Slave devices. You set how often the gateway updates the data to the Slaves. This update is cyclic, not event based. For event based processing, like most barcode scans, you can map an additional counter that increments whenever a successful message is received from the USB device.

If your device uses delimiters, the 460MMUSB can be configured to automatically remove the delimiters, no need to deal with the delimiters in your Slaves. If you need to parse your data, the 460MMUSB can parse a string of ASCII data in up to 50 segments by delimiter or offset.

Translation Table
Allows for data manipulation during protocol translation. Scaling and other data format changes can occur in the gateway.

Status and Counters
Protocol specific status, counters and error messages are accessible within the gateways diagnostics page. They can also be delivered to a connected device.

Diagnostic Logging Page
Allows users to see and log start up sequences, protocol specific messages & error messages.
