Product Description

Connect Your Modbus RTU master to Your Building Management System
The 460MRSBMS moves data between a Modbus RTU master and a BACnet MS/TP Building Automation System (BAS). It’s a perfect tool to get your Modbus RTU data tied in with your BACnet MS/TP Building Automation System.

Best of all the product is Made in the USA, is always in stock and comes with a 5 year warranty.

How Do I Use the 460MRSBMS in My Application?
For most applications the mapping is very straight forward. Modbus register data is mapped to BACnet analog objects and Modbus coil data is mapped to binary objects on BACnet. The only additional piece required for BACnet is adding meta data which is nothing more than an ASCII description of each object. No other deep understanding of either protocol is required to configure the gateway.

It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions.

Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460MRSBMS provides an option to access Modbus RTU master data on your BACnet MS/TP system. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.

When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait.We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.
